Pop-Up Boutique
The Tap Happy Pop-Up Boutique is a brand new event, in co-occurance with our 2019 Tap Happy Annual Merry Month of May Master Classes.

The boutique will open for thirty minutes before each master class, and will close before the ending of the evening's final class.

You can shop, enter a contest, watch a demonstration, or visit with other tap dance lovers at the boutique. You are welcome to the boutique even if you are not taking our master classes or are new to Tap Happy. We would love to meet you!
SHOPPING
​
You can select and purchase your very own Tap Happy tee shirt or tank top to wear to your tap dance class, or for the upcoming National Tap Dance Day, May 25th. If you are new to tap dance, you may find a pair of gently used tap shoes that fit. For people ready to increase their suppleness and decrease stiffness, Yamuna Body Rolling balls and foot wakers will be for sale, with Yamuna practitioners on hand to answer your questions. Come ready with checkbook or cash for additional surprises.

CONTEST
​
You can express yourself and have fun as you take a chance to win some free tap lessons! Our Tap Happy Top Fashion Contest winners will each receive a package of four free lessons for Summer or Fall. Alter your Tap Happy tee or tank, then enter the contest when you arrive at the boutique in time to have your photo taken in your own personal fashion statement and fill out your contestant form. DEMONSTRATIONS
​
Learn about Yamuna Body Rolling and Yamuna Foot Fitness, the special techniques that keep people moving without pain or stiffness even as they age or deal with scar tissue from surgery or injuries. Two of Houston's top Yamuna practitioners will offer demonstrations during the boutique on most master class nights. Yamuna supplies will be available to purchase for home practice. Wear yoga clothes or your proper tap dance attire to participate in the demo. Yoga mats will be provided. Use Yamuna to keep your feet tap dancing into your golden years! Schedule is here.
