Shim Sham Shimmy Fest! Part of One Billion Rising (an awareness-raising Valentine’s Day event) Tap Happy participated in the global movement, One Billion Women Dancing, to ensure that leaders of every nation work now to end the world-wide problem of violence against women. Men and Women who tap dance stood up for this cause by joining our Shim Sham Shimmy Fest! Many also took the pledge on www.OneBillionRising.org to do something in the coming year to help make the world a safe place for women and girls.
